Before he made bazillions of dollars as a “media mogul”, Merv Griffin was a popular daytime talk show host along with his stuffy British sidekick, Arthur Treacher (Arthur has a mildly successful restaurant chain of his own). Upon Merv’s departure from the world, he left us with this parting quip: “I will not be right back after this message.”
