I have no idea what these kids are saying…but it’s not really important. It’s quite clear without translation. A very cute concept. I have no idea what the commercial is selling, though.

Ahhh…the venerable theremin. It’s been around since forever, and apart from sound effects for sci-fi movies, it’s primarily been known as the cool, eerie sound on the Beach Boys’ smash hit, “Good Vibrations”. However, Randy George of The Ether and Aether Experiment has undertaken a cover of the Gnarls Barkley hit, Crazy, using the theremin as the lead instrument. Imagine that you’re vacationing in Belgium, and you stumble across this sign, What do you make of it? It would be hard to argue that its meaning is clear. On the other hand, if you’re a local, you might already be aware that it’s telling you that leaves on the tram track may lead to difficulty with stopping precisely…and not keeping your distance may result in one being SMOOSHED.

I will admit…I am not even remotely clued-in to hip-hop culture. But, if this can make ME laugh, I bet it can make YOU laugh, too. Very well done!
